To ensure every client receives the highest level of care and to maintain a calm, professional environment, the following policies are in place. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

APPOINTMENTS & BOOKING

 

All appointments must be booked online. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment to allow for a full and unrushed treatment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service, and the full service fee will still apply.

If you are unsure which service to book, new clients are encouraged to select the Signature Custom Facial, which allows your treatment to be fully customized based on your skin’s needs.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

 

All services require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This deposit reserves time specifically for you and is applied toward your service total at checkout.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in loss of the non-refundable deposit
  • No-shows will result in loss of the deposit plus a 25% fee of the scheduled service
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full prepayment for future bookings or result in refusal of future appointments

DEPOSIT POLICY

  • All appointments require a non-refundable deposit
  • Deposits may be applied toward one rescheduled appointment only
  • Deposits cannot be transferred to another client or service
  • Failure to attend the rescheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit

PACKAGES & PREPAID SERVICES

All packages and prepaid services:

  • Are non-refundable
  • Are non-transferable
  • Do not expire unless otherwise stated
  • Do not lock in future pricing adjustments

Missed appointments will be deducted from the package if cancellation policies are not followed.


PRICING & MENU UPDATES

Service pricing is subject to change as treatments, techniques, and offerings evolve. Existing appointments and prepaid packages will always be honored at their booked rate. Updated pricing applies to new bookings moving forward.


SKIN PREP & HOME CARE REQUIREMENTS

For corrective treatments, proper home care and skin preparation are essential for safe and effective results. In some cases, certain products may need to be paused before your appointment.

Clients who are not compliant with treatment plans or pre/post-care instructions may not achieve desired results, and continued corrective services may be declined if skin health is compromised.

RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS

While treatments are results-driven, individual results vary based on skin condition, consistency, and home care. Corrective skincare often requires a series of treatments and proper at-home maintenance. One appointment alone does not guarantee correction.

CHILDREN & GUESTS

To maintain a calm and professional treatment environment, only the client receiving the service is permitted in the treatment room unless otherwise discussed in advance.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Please disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, pregnancy status, and recent treatments prior to your appointment. Certain services may be contraindicated based on health history or current skin condition.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the treatment room.

RESPECT & BOUNDARIES

Complexions by Mia is a respectful, professional space. Any behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service or termination of the client relationship.

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Complexions by Mia reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if policies are not followed, if skin health is compromised, or if treatment plans and professional recommendations are repeatedly ignored.
